Mike qualified from Liverpool in 1979 and came to work in Blackburn in what was then a Farm, Equine and Small Animal Practice. After a brief spell working in the Yorkshire Dales he returned as a partner in the Holroyd Veterinary Practice. Along with Pam Cartwright he established the Town and Country Veterinary Group in 1999 and worked as Clinical Director until 2021. From 2003, Mike has specialised in companion animal medicine and surgery.
