Kathryn Scott - Deputy Nursing Manager
Kathryn Scott RVN Deputy Nursing Manager

I've been working at Town and Country Veterinary Group since 2008 when I joined the practice as a student.  I qualified as an RVN in 2011 and have subsequently gone on to become a Pet Health Counsellor, Clinical Coach and Deputy Nursing Manager.  I really enjoy the variety that comes with General Practice, although challenging at times it can be very rewarding.  I am based at the clayton branch which means I have the opportunity get to know our patients and their owners individually, I like to think this reassures our patients when they come to see us.  I also really enjoy the clinical coaching aspect of my job, helping our students to learn the practical side of nursing keeps me on my toes.  I've had quite a few pets over the years, rabbits and hamsters when I was younger along with Dogs and Cats of course. I currently own 2 young cats, they are brother and sister and very mischievous, I often come to work with a cat toy in my handbag which I did not put there! I also have a tropical fish tank. For hobbies I enjoy swimming and walking (although this activity isn't quite the same when you aren't accompanied by a dog).  I also like to read crime thrillers and watch TV.
