Jane Parker

In September 1990 I did 3 years at Myerscough College in Animal Care. Within the 3 years I was given a 1 day a week placement at Town and Country (originally J B Holroyd vets) were I continued onto the veterinary nursing course and qualified in 1996. In 1998 I became Pet Health Care Councillor which I really enjoyed. I have continued to enjoy my job over the years, with many challenging times and through my hard work and determination I made my way to the role of Nursing Manger and I continue to work for Town and Country Vets up to this day. I am Blackburn born and bred. I don’t really have any out of work hobbies!! My interests are listening to music and enjoying time with my family and friends (oh I do like going to the odd festival). I don’t currently have any pets but I have had guinea pigs in the past which I think are very interesting pets to have.
